Vertical Datums
The link between the different levels is important to know when determining lot boundaries, developing the coastal zone, investigating insurance claims etc.
To determine heights and depths we need knowledge about the different vertical datums, and the relationship between them. The relationship between the different datums vary from place to place. These levels are important for different utilizations and it is therefore possible to hide or show some types of datums in the list below.

Historical Annual Water Levels
The graph shows the observed annual mean water level, as well as the highest and lowest water level for each year over the chosen period, and given to the chosen vertical datum.
The data shown here are from the permanent tide gauge closest to the searched location, and have not been adjusted with a height correction factor. For most practical purposes, and for locations far from the permanent tide gauges, the levels found under the Vertical datums tab will be more robust.
The table below shows the maximum, average and minimum water levels for every month in the start year of the chosen period. Use the API-service to download these data.
